Overview
The SD-5020 dries seed batches in two independent baskets under fully controlled air conditions. Drying parameters are saved as recipes, so every batch of the same variety is dried exactly like the last. Recirculating AC fans and evaporator-based dehumidification keep energy use low and avoid the extra heat that desiccant rotors produce. The SD-5040 Quattro Dryer offers the same technology with four baskets.
Good to know: average drying time is approx. 60 minutes per batch. For film-coated seed we recommend a working fill of 6 - 8 kg per basket.
